Make a PMD Model using PMDE in English

Step#6: Do the boots

Keep on going... in PMDE. delete all of the parts we DON'T need!

Hiiro: Done and done!

Step#7: Let’s start putting them all together!

Whoa now! Hold your horses!

Before that, we need to cross-check if all the parts are okay. How? Simple enough. Just load them to MMD! That’s my habit, and a rewarding one. This way you’ll be certain that your parts are not defective at all.

Step#8: Let’s start putting th-

Next, we need to make sure they’re all aligned CORRECTLY with the base. Remember what we did with Rin’s hair in the first tutorial? That’s right, it’s dummy time!

Be sure to grab the correct placeholder dummy!

J,j,just….forget what you saw. This tutorial is certainly NOT CREATED at Site-19

Now import the boots first...

legs generally load in the correct position, but you can move them if you need to!

After you saved that, CTRL+N and start a new session. Load the dummy and import the hands...

Drag the various model parts into position...

Saved? Okay then, lastly, we’ll do the head...

Do it again... load the dummy, load the head... move the head into position, delete the dummy...

Phew! All done with this step!

Step#9: Let’s start putting them all together! (FOR REAL!)

RED LIGHT!!! WHAT NOW?!! One more thing to do...

Use the PB&J buttons and do a final clean-up of your new MMD model.

Make sure you’re careful about this step here, I forgot about it several times, and it always results in a rollback.

(FOR REAL!! I HAVE MY CHAIR READY TO THROW AT YOU IN CASE IT’S ANOTHER JOKE!!)

O,o,okay!! Spare me your chair flinging today! Load the base and import the parts one by one.

Now add all parts to your model, starting with the base model and import the other parts one-by-one.

Done saving? Then she’s done! Test her out in MMD to see if she works!

There she is! ... We used PMDE to make an MMD model from scratch! ... well... almost from scratch!

Is your model’s good? No glitches? Cool? Great! You’ve done well!
