MMD 9.32
Designed for newer computers, MMD 9.32 is the latest version of MikuMikuDance:
https://learnmmd.com/MikuMikuDanceE_v932.zip
and also the 64-bit MMD is available:
https://learnmmd.com/MikuMikuDanceE_v932x64.zip
Download MMD 9.32. It is a 6.5mb download ZIP file. I SAVEd it to my Desktop. When you have it, open that zip folder and click the command “Extract All”. I just agreed to the defaults and found a new folder on my desktop containing MikuMikuDance … ready to run. I dropped the ZIP folder into the MMD folder just to keep it. There is no “installing” MMD. It sits in its folder on your desktop, ready to use. If you decide you don’t want to keep it, just drag the folder into the Recycle Bin … there is no “uninstall”.

——- Getting Error Statements? You are not alone!
The “Configuration Error” is most popular
I have A Solution!
Read the new article about fixing the Failed to start Configuration error …
The “failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect” statement had me confused until I discovered the solution. Read the new article on LearnMMD.com to fix the problem.
The “Missing DLL Error” has Two Versions!
Sometimes a user needs to update his/her DirectX files.
- The first, basic DirectX error states that MMD cannot find DxOpenNI.dll. You need to run the DirectX 9c Updater from the LearnMMD Downloads page.
- The other common DLL error is the “d3dx9_32-dll was not found“. This is more complicated because that file is simply not in your system32 folder. Read all about fixing this MMD missing DLL error here: https://learnmmd.com/http:/learnmmd.com/mmd-error-d3dx9_32-dll-was-not-found/
Go to the LearnMMD Downloads Page to get your MikuMikuDanceE_v926.zip … a 6.5mb download.
I expect the new version, Miku Miku Dance 9.32, will run well and be able to use the mountains of accessories, models, and effects created for MMD 7.39. I am looking forward to learning about “what’s new” in MMD 9.32.

You need libraries for an *earlier* version of DirectX. Find them here: https://support.microsoft.com/kb/179113/en-us
First I got the “d3dx9_32.dll” error. I downloaded the dll file and now it says “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)”. I have Windows 8.1, and I have the latest DirectX 11, Microsoft .NET framework, and both C++ downloads. Can someone find a fix please? I’m dying to use MMD.
i have an error “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)” but only on versions x64
don’t know how to fix it :c any help?
I’ve been trying to fix this for 3 weeks now. I lost all of my files on my computer so I’m trying to download everything back. Right now I’m just trying to get MMD. I’m kinda tired of this already… I’m jumping from error to error. First I got the dll error, but I fixed that. Then I got the side-by-side configuration, but I fixed that too. Now I have the error “The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click ok to close the application” What’s going on here? I have MMD 9.24 version and Windows 7 computer. I tried with MMD 8.01 too but it does the same thing. I have the latest Directx and the dll I was missing. What now? I’m just about ready to give up on MMD.
I am sending you an email … Reggie D
Whenever I try to extract ANY version of Miku Miku Dance in ANY zip extracting software I always get the same error : “The archive is either unkown in format or damaged” . Please help!!!
I sent you an email … let’s figure it out!
http://www6.atwiki.jp/vpvpwiki/pages/219.html is the homepage of MME and it has the latest version 0.37 (the Downloads section of LearnMMD only contains 0.36). Read the article https://learnmmd.com/http:/learnmmd.com/download-mme-v036-in-english/ for detailed installation instructions.
Sorry for asking, but does anyone know where the MikuMikuEffect for MikuMikuDance 9.24 is? I tried MikuDan’s blog, but I get a weird page that talks about coupons..
Am I the only one who get error like this? :
“The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000020c). Click OK to close the application.”
I don’t understand what happened though, I tried to search for it in Google, there’s no solution. Can someone help me please?
Search for only 0xc000020c
I see many results showing possible solutions. Could be security software issue … could be a computer registry issue … could be a 32-bit VS 64-bit issue … ?
Keep up the great work on the MMD main program updates! For the record, I use this site as my ‘definitive’ source for the main MMD program updates. CHEERS!
Thank you Trackdancer … high praise, indeed!
What is the difference between the normal version and 64-Bit? My laptop can easily run the 64-Bit version but is it really better?
i have an Asus, windows 8 PC. I ts says that it cant run on this computer…. WHAT DO I DO?!!!!
Is it a 64-bit / 32-bit question … have you tried both versions of MMD?
Hm. I updated from 7. 39 to 9.12×64 and I noticed that I can’t use effects because the MME menu is missing. I used Diffusion 7 through the accessory box before, but now it just shows a red square. Does this mean I have to update my old MME files or is something else the problem?
You will need the 64-bit MME … see our Downloads page for the MME v036x64.
Everytime I click on MikuMikuDance.exe the new one,
I get something saying I may not have the permission to open it, then Norton scans it and removes it. Can someone help me with this?
That’s a new one! … That happens after you have extracted the files from the ZIP?? … you DO have to “Extract All” from the Zip folder before you can run MMD.
when I wanted to render a video in mmd (the latest one), it gives me an error saying:
“cannot read MMDxShow-> dll
there is not ‘MMDxShow-> dll” in “Data” folder.
please download newest ver. of MikuMiku Dance.”
I’ve downloaded mmd twice, it gives me the same error. I looked through the comments on here and just downloaded the MMDxShow.dll that you offered on the Downloads page and it still gave me the same error message. I made sure I put it in the “Data” folder and I even checked to make sure it was in there before I ran MMD. It was there, yet it gave me the error message.
I don’t know what to do at this point. None of the other MMD versions I’ve had did this to me.
(i posted this comment already but it never gave me a conformation email so i’m sending it again)
