Step 1: VDE-3 Entry Creation… YouTube Music Approval
LearnMMD’s Video Dojo Expo 3
“Gotta Sing… Gotta DANCE!”
requires a Song-and-Dance number!
Well … I have decided to make MINE from a Robert Palmer song: “Trick bag”!
“Trick bag” is not really a song-and-dance number… but the goal of VDE-3 is to create a “live-on-stage” performance using a lead singer and a back-up group… with the back-up group having a different motion from the Lead Singer… so I think I can make it LOOK like a stage number.
My first step was to go to YouTube and download the song as an Mp3… success!
NOW I need to see if that song will be “OK” on YouTube… without being blocked, unexpectedly, down the road. So… I created a simple MMD video… just loaded my Gakupo model and added that WAV file I created in Audacity from the Mp3 I downloaded from YouTube. … Easy, so far… I uploaded that video as “unlisted” so only I could see it… along with anyone else I shared my URL with. Success with the upload.
NOW… I wait… wait to see if YouTube allows me to host that song… … … still waiting…
It may be a day, or two, before YouTube discovers my song and… A.) allows the song with whatever attribution they add to my listing, there… or B.) they block it from being shown…
It took YouTube only HALF-a-day to identify my music…
… and…
“Approved!”… or, at least, not complaining!
So… my project is good to go!
